Yuwie, like myspace with income

Yuwie, a social network site, still in beta, but growing fast with 24 000 users, has a slight twist.

You take part of the revenue stream when anyone looks at your site or any of your site areas. Revenue share is calculated at a per thousand impressions basis.

Increasingly web2.0 properties are going for shared revenue streams to attract and retain users. Squidoo and Weblo to name just two other examples. Like all of the social networking sites, advertising can encroach and needs to be manage, so far the Yuwie pages don’t look overloaded.

Revenue can also be earned by referal, on a tiered level, ten deep.
